Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this week - I know I did. I ate at my friend Elizabeth's, and she had an amazing spread for us!

She had appetizers all set out and ready to go when we arrived.

Here she is with husband Jasand.

She had worked really hard to prepare all these awesome dishes. Not easy to do in a small Brooklyn kitchen.

Did I mention that they have an adorable son?

Anyway, I filled my plate (twice!) and ate until I could barely move.

Everything was so good - thank you, Lizzie!!

Bridal Shower!

Of course, this is SO out of date, but I wanted to talk about my bridal shower and say THANK YOU again to my wonderful friends who planned it!

Lea, Leah and Jasmine did an awesome job, everything was so beautiful and so personal and I only teared up a little bit.
They held the shower at Rock Bottom - how did they know I would enjoy a brewery??

Great decorations...

Games...

Tasty snacks...

Delicious cake...

Generous gifts...

My favorite gift, a recipe book!

And my favorite part, the guests!

I had such a good time cuddling with Abbey!

Mother-in-law and sis-in-law Heather (Thanks for making me look so tall, Ellie!)

Jaz and I recreate the photo behind us of me holding her as a baby (with a death grip)

Nephew Joey, our first meeting! He's obviously thrilled to meet his Auntie Shelli!

I can't thank all of you enough - for planning and attending the shower, and for all your thoughtful gifts! Thank you! It was awesome!

I am dying! (for my photos)

I can't wait for my wedding pictures! It has been 5 weeks now... I thought it would be faster. I console myself by telling myself, the photographer has SO MANY awesome pics from our wedding, she has never seen ANYTHING so awesome, and she needs to take her time editing the photos. Here is a wedding photo, to console the rest of you (because I'm sure everyone reading this blog is as anxious to see the pics as I am) with an accessory that unfortunately did not arrive in time to be in our official wedding photos. Our rings and the dish we have to store them in!

The words are from our vows.
